A piece for two players who guide one long strip of hole-punched paper through a pair of music boxes tuned a quarter-tone apart. Throughout the piece, the performers synchronize and desynchronize at different distances along the music strip. After completing the strip, player #1 returns to the start and begins again, but flips the strip upside-down. When player #2 reaches the end, they also turn the strip upside-down, but begin at the end; the piece concludes when the two players collide in the middle of the strip.
