This is my second installation collaboration with visual artist Idetsuki Hideaki exploring the use of paper to create cloud-like sound environments. For this installation, I created a palette of sounds closely related to the size and shape of the paper so that the transducers hidden inside the paper forms would give the illusion that the paper was creating the sounds itself, or that there were little creatures inside. These physical-sonic focal points were then contextualized in different surrounding spaces, field recordings, microscopic guitar sounds, and synthetic insects flying by.
